Vicky Maldonado LPC
I’m a mom of five married to the love of my life. My journey of serving others began way before I ever became a therapist. I enjoy karaoke, baking, and spending time with my amazing children and grandchildren.
A little about my education: I attained my Master's Degree in Counseling from Wayland Baptist University. Over the past few years, my focus has been on working with clients who struggle with various challenges such as trauma, anxiety, defiance disorders, and depression.
My experience as a therapist: my work extends beyond teenagers to include families, where I assist in fostering open communication, establishing boundaries, and facilitating emotional expression — skills that benefit individuals of all ages.
My Approach: Central to my approach is empowering individuals to recognize their strengths and address their needs. Through a diverse array of therapeutic techniques, I help clients in identifying and reshaping negative emotions, thoughts, and behaviors.
Let’s get some tools in your toolbox: Imagine acquiring coping mechanisms that bolster your mindfulness, improve emotional regulation, and develop better interpersonal skills. The prospect of embarking on this transformative journey together is just a call away. Let your road to self-discovery and growth begin!

Yolanda Correa LPC
Welcome Our New Child Therapist!
Hello! My name is Yolanda Correa, and I was born and raised in Mexico. I have always had a passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development.
I earned my Master’s in Counseling from Our Lady of the Lake University in 2011, and before that, I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Child and Family Studies in California. With over 30 years of experience, my focus has been helping young children thrive in all areas of development.
Currently, I specialize in child mental health, working with children who may be struggling with emotional regulation, defiant and disruptive behaviors, anxiety, and trauma. My goal as a counselor is to provide a safe, nurturing space where children feel comfortable expressing their emotions and processing their experiences. I also work closely with caregivers, ensuring we collaborate as a team to create the best possible outcomes for the child.
I utilize evidence-based approaches such as Play Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). These methods allow children to process their emotions in a way that is both age-appropriate and engaging, using play and creative expression as a pathway to healing.
I am passionate about helping children feel heard, understood, and supported. Together, we can build a strong foundation for their emotional well-being and future success!
